Mac and Cheese… Kinda…

Needed squidgy pasta today! We had leftover spaghetti so no point buying macaroni! Also, bonus garlic bread!

Cheese Sauce for Pasta

  • 25g butter
  • 25g flour
  • 400ml milk
  • 200g grated cheese
  • 1/4tsp cayenne pepper
  • 1/4tsp paprika
  • salt and pepper

Melt the butter in a saucepan. Add the flour, stir, and cook for a few minute. Add the milk, a splash at a time and stirring constantly, until you have a creamy thick sauce. Add the paprika and cayenne, season, and stir well. Stir in the cheese until melted. Pour over pasta to serve, and with garlic bread on the side.
