Who has time for stupid, shattery taco shells?! We prefer wraps.

Beef Tacos

  • 1tbsp garlic oil
  • 1tbsp butter
  • 1 large onion, diced
  • 1 red pepper, diced
  • 500g beef mince
  • 1tsp paprika
  • 1/2tsp ground cumin
  • Salt and pepper
  • 1/2tsp dried oregano
  • 1/4tsp dried rosemary
  • 5tbsp tomato puree
  • 250ml hot water
  • 1 tin of black-eyed beans

Heat the butter and oil in a large pan. Add the onion and pepper, and sweat for 5 minutes. Crumble in the mince, season well, and cook until browned.

Add the spices and herbs, and stir well. Mix the puree into the hot water, and stir into the pan. Allow to bubble, stirring often, and cook until ‘dry’.

Add the beans and cook for 5 minutes before serving with wraps, salad, and guacamole.
