Curry Night!


I think I’ve mentioned this before, but hubs often require a hot curry upon a weekend occasion. And this past Christmas I received the most awesome of kitchen gifts – a masala dabba. It made me realise that I’ve got an over-abundance of spices in our little kitchen cupboard, so I promise hubs that Saturday night curries will make a return to our menus.

I fancied trying something different with tonight’s curry, so I made a chickpea and potato side dish to go with it, recipe found here and ours pictured below. I was mondo pleased with it, but might change the recipe next time, and fry the potatoes a little bit before adding puree and water, and cooking down.


Overall, I made far too much food and we’re going to be eating this tomorrow. See below for the rest of our feast…
